It is a dream come true. MAGIC has come to Kyoto! I still have to pinch myself to believe it is real. Thanks to the hard work of the Shibuya Productions team and Mind Creators, our common dream to see Kyoto as a international cultural pop culture center has come true.
What an honor to have been offered the opportunity to work with high local authorities such as the Prefecture and City of Kyoto. I want to express my gratitude to Mister Daisaku Kadokawa, Mister Takatoshi Nishiwaki and Mister Keiji Yamada for their precious help on carrying this project out.

Remember when manga, video games and animation were not always culturally, artistically and economically valued as highly as it should have been, those times are gone. Nowadays, artists and actors from those universes finally gets the respect they always deserved which makes a huge progress for cultural diversity in our world.
I would like to say thank you to my friend, to very talented Yoshitaka Amano who imagined and designed MAGIC Kyoto’s official poster, and who is always ready to take part in our projects.

Lastly, I would like to thank all the artists who placed their trust in us as well as the Monegasque authorities, the Monaco Ambassadors Club which supports MAGIC Monaco, our Monaco-born event and many thanks to our partners and all people involved in MAGIC Kyoto.

Now, I wish you a wonderful experience at MAGIC Kyoto 2018 and I hope to see some of you at MAGIC Monaco in 2019 for its 5th anniversary!
